We’ve had quite a bit of snow this winter here in our area. Cars are getting stuck on the street continuously, but there are always Good Samaritans who give them a push to get them on their way. Some sidewalks are shoveled, and some are not. There is still solid ice under all the snow, however, which probably won’t disappear until March. This picture is of one of the branch buildings with the snow piled high to make a walkway.

On our way to the English School where we volunteer, we pass this building. It was a private residence years ago and was built in 1919. The architecture is beautiful, and it must have been a “grand” place in its day. It is used for some kind of a business today – we’re not quite sure since we don’t know what the sign on the front of the building says.
