The Institute Council decided to have a Valentine’s Day “Conference” and invited other YSA from other cities to join them for the weekend. YSA from Sumy, Donetsk, and Kiev joined us.

Friday night there was a gathering with “dating game” type activities, vocal solos, a waltz demonstration, and banana splits (this seems to be their favorite dessert after Elder Reed and I served it for one of our activities). On Saturday night there was a dance, and Sunday evening there was a fireside given by Elder and Sister Reed (in the next post). It was a great weekend for everyone in attendance.

A waltz demonstration for the group - very beautifully done!

One of the solo presentations - Anna is the translator we use the most.

A fun dance which they love to do

There was a group of four of the men who did a hip-hop dance presentation during the evening.
