Last week was transfer week, and we now have one new Sister and three new Elders serving in our District. They are a most enthusiastic group, and we know they will do great things this transfer.

The sisters are meeting their new companions at the train station. The sisters on the right are from Wroclaw, but they met in Katowice on the train from Warsaw and then drove to Wroclaw with the senior couple who serves there, the Durrants.

We had one new Elder arrive on the same train from Warsaw with the Sisters. The other two Elders came on a later train. The Elders are always satisfied with a handshake when they meet (as opposed to the Sisters’ squeals and hugs!).

After the District Meeting this week, we had the Elders and Sisters over for lunch. Sisters Packard, Petherbridge, and Pearson. They are truly the “3 P’s in a pod!”

The Elders who serve in Sosnowiec (just east of Katowice) are Elder Boyce and our District Leader, Elder Godwin.
What a great looking bunch. The missionaries are sure looking young these days . . . . I was thinking it was the age change but really I think it’s just cuz I’m getting older. . . .
