Branch Ping Pong Tournament

We had a great Branch activity last weekend  -  a ping pong tournament.  There were quite a few visitors there from our English classes and also those whom the Elders and Sisters are teaching.  We all got to know each other better and had a chance to hone our ping pong skills (all of Sister Reed’s grandchildren can beat her at ping pong now after not having a paddle in her hand for almost a year and a half!)  There was a lot of laughing and chatting along with the games, which made it a lot of fun for everyone.

Sylvia, who is being taught by the Sisters, and Sister Packard are playing with Zachary and Udzienia. The two young ones did quite well.

There was some great competition during the play-offs in the winners bracket.

As time went on the action really picked up, and there was some pretty good competition.

This was the sophisticated scoring method for the day.

The exhuborant crowd did a little wave action to keep the contestants going!

Fooz Ball and a chess game went on in the YSA room while the ping pong games continued in the foyer.

Here is the group - everyone had a chance to play ping pong, but the grand winner was our Branch President, Adrian, who is kneeling on the front right.
