Branch Service Project

With General Conference coming and a District Conference at our meeting house in a few weeks, we needed  to clean the chairs throughout the building.  The Branch members were invited to come help with the scrubbing, and we had a good work crew to get the job done last Saturday.  The members here are so willing to pitch in and help to keep the chapel clean and neat.   It’s great to see this wonderful attitude of pride and ownership for our meeting house.

Here is a picture of the work crew in action - Andziej, Marek, Basia, Helena, and Gosia.

The reward for all our hard work was potato cakes made by Gosia. They were delicious!

Those potato cakes were really good, along with a fruit salad which Sister Reed brought. Ola, on the right, joined the group to help, too, so she got the potato cake reward along with the others!

Having a meal after cleaning is a good idea! We’ll have to try that tactic next time it’s our turn to clean the church. :)
