Sunday was General Conference day, and one session of Conference was shown to our Branch. Conference is absolutely nourishment for our hungry souls. As we listen to the words of our leaders, we know this is exactly what the Lord wants us to hear and know, and then, GO AND DO! After the broadcast and we had listened to our prophets and leaders, we had pancakes together to top of the day. The buttermilk pancakes with buttermilk syrup or apple sauce (made by the sisters) topped with the fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries we have been getting here all summer made a delicious treat.

Dad, I love the apron! You look so sphelt! (I probably spelled that wrong). Those are also good looking pancakes. I think that’s a great tradition to start.
To help us stay awake for the afternoon session I decided to pop popcorn. I think that will be our new conference tradition.
