Learning to Make a Polish Apple Pie

Sister Reed spent one evening with Agnieszka, our neighbor two doors down from us (who also attends our English class), learning how to make a Polish apple pie. It was such fun, and the pie was delicious. Elder Reed came down when it came out of the oven to partake of the culinary creation made that night. Agnieszka’s husband, Voitek, was out for the evening, so he missed the treat. But there was still some left for him to enjoy later.

The two cooks in the kitchen

A few months ago we took a picture of Agnieszka with her bike which she rides to work each day. We loved the grass and floral display on the back fender of the bike and had to get a picture of it.

That pie looks delicious. I hope it was as good as it looks.

You guys should get some bikes like that and have her decorate them. That’s pretty cute.
