A Farewell Gathering for the Healys

We had a very spiritual sacrament meeting today with talks about forgiveness and coming unto Christ. For the first time since we have been here, we had a choir! The choir sang “How Great Thou Art”, which brought a beautiful spirit to the meeting. Music does wonders for our meetings. Sister Folsom directed the choir, and everyone felt good about the opportunity to offer a prayer of thanks to God through this beautiful hymn.

After our meetings we all gathered for a wonderful obiad (lunch) with food prepared by our members and even some investigators. It was a heart-warming gathering to show our love for this wonderful family in our Branch who will leave for America at the end of the month.

The food was great!

Maciej and Elder Reed had a conversation over lunch. Maciej is being taught by the Elders, and we all have enjoyed getting to know him.

The Sisters are teaching Eva each week. Sister Reed joins the Sisters in some of their lessons with investigators, and Eva is one of those. We all love this wonderful woman who truly wants to know and understand the gospel. You'll notice that Maciej has a good sense of humor.

Marlena, left, who was baptized almost 4 months ago, brought her friend, Jola, to church today. Jola said she truly enjoyed the meeting and wants to learn more.

Alicja is a choice young woman the Sisters are teaching.

The Healys were presented a book signed by all of us depicting the beautiful sites found in this wonderful country of Poland.
