Another YSA night

We had our weekly Young Single Adult night with Jola teaching an excellent lesson on the life of the Savior. We all shared our thoughts and testimonies about Him and what he has done and continues to do for us. After the lesson we played “Corn Hole.” The Elders suggested this game and said it was one that lots of people had fun with at BYU. So Elder Reed went all over town to find materials to build the game. When you are not familiar with what kind of building supplies they have here, it took him quite some time and quite a few miles to get the job done. And, of course, we didn’t happen to pack any tools in our two bags a piece for a stay of a year and a half! But he got the job done, and some of the sisters helped make bean bags for the game. It’s a pretty simple game, but lots of fun.

The bean bag makers - Grazena has a sewing machine with a hand crank which works quite well. Jola and Sister Reed are filling the bags with rice.

Bolek tries to get the bean bag into the hole. Since this time Elder Reed has painted the boards red and white like the Polish flag.

On the other end of the room, Natalie and Sister Folsom give high fives for Natalie making a good shot.

That looks like some expert craftsmanship! I’m glad the game turned out well.
