MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM UKRAINE

Merry Christmas to all of you who are so dear to us. This is looking out our apartment window. It's cold and snowy, and Christmas is in the air.

At this time of year our hearts are turned to our Savior, Jesus Christ, his simple yet miraculous birth, and the man he grew up to be. Isaiah’s words describe him well – Wonderful, Councilor, the mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. How thankful we are for his infinite sacrifice and his unconditional love for his father and his brothers and sisters. We are grateful to be his messengers here in Ukraine.

We want to extend our warmest holiday greetings to all of you. May your hearts be filled with the Spirit of Christmas, and as President Monson says, “Take off the last syllable and you have the Spirit of Christ.” May his Spirit be with you now and throughout the coming year.

Our love,
Elder and Sister Reed
