October and November have been very busy months. We haven’t taken pictures at some of our activities, but we’ll give you a quick run-down of them. A couple of weeks ago we had a 3 hour workshop at Kharkov University of Technology on “The Family Unit” and its importance to society. There were about 34 students there, and some good discussion came out of the group. We have had teacher training for our CES teachers, and we also opened this up to any teachers in the district who wanted to come. Our topic was “Building Zion”. We are teaching English at several English schools in the area, and, naturally, we enjoy this a great deal because we can speak the language! We are helping the Elders with some of their teaching lessons and find this the most fulfilling of all – to be able to testify of Jesus Christ and His gospel is what it’s all about. All of these activities and events plus the Institute and Seminary activities are keeping us going at a pretty good clip, but it’s all good.

Last week was Zone Conference. What a great spirit there is at these meetings. We have outstanding Elders and Sisters being sent to Ukraine, and we're blessed to be a part of the effort.

Members of the Institute are practicing their dance which they will perform at the Christmas Ball in December in Donetsk. Institute members from all over the country come to this event each year.
