BAPTISM

We had a great example of how the Church can work with Masih’s baptism. Masih found the missionaries, the YSA group fellowshipped him and Masih came to Church, came to activities and came to Institute. There were more people at his baptism than our normal branch attendance. Masih is from Iran with a background in the Muslim faith. He was eager to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ and felt the spirit beginning with the missionary discussions.

After 11 months we have been associated with 10 baptisms. One of our jobs is to help involve the Church members with missionary work. Almost all the young adults are excited about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and willing share their testimony. They are a good example of getting involved and continuing the friendshipping and fellowshipping effort to find and retain members.

That’s so great that there have been that many baptisms while you’ve been there. I love it when member missionary work really works. :)
